Julie joined the ACTIVE Lab in the fall of 2009. She is presently completing her Master’s degree in Modeling and Simulation along with a Certificate in Instructional Design for Simulations. Her background is in education and instruction, and she comes to the lab with 5 years experience teaching in Brevard and Seminole County Public Schools. Her research interests are in cognition and learning, and applying research findings to the improvement of instructional systems.
