Lauren Reinerman, Ph.D.
Research Associate, ACTIVE Lab
M.A., Ph.D., Human Factors Psychology, University of Cincinnati
Double B.A. , Psychology and Communications, University of Cincinnati
Dr. Reinerman’s research focuses on physiological measures as indicators, selection tools, and predictors of human performance. Prior to becoming a member of the ACTIVE Lab, she directed studies at the University of Cincinnati for the Army utilizing transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TCD) and stress measures (self-report and cortisol samples) as predictors of vigilance performance. That series of investigations produced a useful personnel selection tool and emphasized individual differences, working memory, sensory versus cognitive tasks, driving and other multi-dimensional environments, workload, stress and coping, and resource theory. She also enjoyed her position as Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati where she instructed all level psychology courses and mentored students in research activities, one of which included measures of personality, emotional intelligence, and relationship satisfaction. At the same time, Dr. Reinerman contributed to research conducted at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base concerning eye tracking, EEG, team versus individual performance, and communication modalities. |
